Luciano Pavarotti isn’t ready yet for his final curtain call.  The 63-year-old Metropolitan opera singer said that he is recovering just fine from hip replacement surgery in July and a knee replacement on the other leg a month later.

Questions arose about his possible retirement, but he said, “You know, my father is 86, vocalizes every day and sings solo at church in full voice.  And I am my father’s son.”
