Read & Spell 1-25

     My cross old neighbor likes to fuss.  He says, “Don’t roll the ball!”, “Don’t ring the doorbell!”, “Don’t break my glass!”, “Keep off the grass!”, and stuff like that.

We use quotation marks to enclose the exact words that a person says.  Be sure to put the punctuation (! or ? or . or , ) inside the quotation marks. 

We use parentheses to enclose words of explanation.
