Home-made Ice-cream

     No birthday, no picnic, no holiday is complete without it.  Any excuse is O.K.  I use a White Mountain ice-cream maker now.  Before that, I wore out a Sears brand.  (I really make ice-cream a lot!)

Mix in a large bowl:

          5        large eggs

          2        cups sugar

          ½       teaspoon salt

          2        cups cream

          1        tablespoon vanilla flavor

Pour into ice-cream can and add 6 cups of milk.  Put ice and plenty of rock salt around the can and churn until it’s stiff.
