Kids Learn More When Parents Do Less

     In today’s world of competition, it’s easy to push your kids hard in everything.  Certainly there are times when parental insistence is crucial to their success. (Kids must attend school; they must do their homework.)  However, children learn a tremendous amount about life and about themselves when they pursue an interest on their own initiative and have to be responsible for achieving the results they want.  Summer is a perfect time to allow kids this opportunity.
