     The military is more than those who wage war.  Many people fix engines, type, and cook.  If they’re really brave, they do sweat-soaked laundry for the desert-dirty soldiers. 

     “It smells like something dead,” said Davison, 28, of Philadelphia, “but I’m used to it.”

     The laundry tent has four gigantic washers and dryers.
