Delta Chops Fares

     Delta Air Lines has more than 80 percent of the flights that leave the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.  It also has the dubious distinction of having the nation’s highest fares.  Now, to be more competitive, Delta is going to lower fares for leisure flight by roughly 20 percent, or an $80 savings for a round-trip ticket from here to 60 U.S. cities.

     Typically, these flights must be booked at least 21 days in advance and require a Saturday night stay, but walk-up fares would also get a 6 percent cut.
