     Maria and Carlos are studying for their driver’s license test.  “I always get confused at the 4-way-stop,” said Maria.  “Who’s supposed to go first, anyway?” 

     “The driver to your right,” Carlos answered.

     “Yes, I know,” Maria replied, “but what if there isn’t a car to my right—only to my left?”

     Carlos smiled and answered, “______________________________.”
