     Speaking English could be a matter of life and death.  Some Sunnyside, Washington, residents buried their car in a snowdrift in the Blue Mountains. Leaving the kids in the car, the adults walked several miles to Interstate 84 for help.  But they couldn’t speak English to tell the location of the car.  Snowmobilers helped the police rescue them.
