     The number of drunken-driving arrests in the quiet fishing town of Gig Harbor has nearly tripled this year.  The police wonder why.

“I’m kind of baffled,” a police chief said.  “People aren’t being very conscious about drinking and driving in this area.”

“It has increased statewide,” the State Patrol pointed out.
